Decisive Point Consulting Group Expands Partnership with Amarillo VA Health Care System Under Agreement with CareView Communications Inc.

LEWISVILLE, TX – November 29, 2022 – Decisive Point Consulting Group. (“DPCG”) a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business providing Health Information Technology and Patient Safety Technology Integration to the Department of Veteran’s Affairs (VA), announced the expansion of Amarillo VA Health Care System’s Community Living Center (“Amarillo VA”) fall reduction technology,  under its partnership with CareView Communications Inc. Decisive Point Consulting Group and CareView formed a Partnership to contract directly with VA hospitals to use a variety of CareView products to enhance the services being provided to veterans.

The CareView Patient Safety System® facilitates continuous remote patient monitoring to prevent harm to any at-risk patient due to falls, behavioral issues, and suicidal ideation.  CareView’s solution leverages an in-room camera with audio capabilities, and its patented Virtual Bed Rails® and Virtual Chair Rails® technologies to improve patient safety. Virtual Bed Rails® uses machine learning to identify when the patient’s movement indicates a fall may be imminent, and subsequently alerts the Safety Technician. Pre-recorded messages, or 2-way audio, allow for direct communication with the patient. The System also offers a considerable cost savings in hospital sitter labor and greatly enhances overall patient safety.
The agreement with Amarillo VA adds additional cameras, building upon the tremendous success of the initial Patient Safety System deployment to reduce and prevent falls. The System is the industry’s only virtual sitter solution, with no audible alarms in patient areas, making it the perfect solution for VA Community Living Centers (CLCs). As patient privacy is of utmost importance, the System features a privacy option, which can be utilized when needed, ensuring enhanced safety, security, and peace of mind for loved ones.
