WACO, Texas – DPCG is proud to announce recent completion of the Veteran Institute Procurement (VIP) ADVANCE Program, a comprehensive training and certification program that helps Veteran-owned businesses strengthen their ability to win government contracts and do business with both military and civilian agencies.
DPCG was one of 23 businesses from 11 states to graduate from the Veteran Institute for Procurement (VIP) ADVANCE Program.
Rosey Carter, DPCG’s Managing Partner who attended the VIP ADVANCE program, stated that “the program was exceptional in focusing our company on the next level, educating us on key skills, considerations, and attributes, and in expanding our network of successful companies and mentors. We were honored to be selected to participate and highly recommend VIP and its programs.”
VIP ADVANCE is the first program of its kind in the nation, created to help Veteran business owners succeed in the federal marketplace. Led by experienced professionals from both industry and government, the program focuses on practical guidance that supports long-term growth and stability for Veteran-owned small businesses.
The program is built around four core modules: Mission and Purpose, Clients and Contracts, People, and Financials. Each module delivers relevant instruction and actionable insights aligned with the real-world challenges Veteran business leaders face as their companies grow.
In addition to the curriculum, VIP ADVANCE connects participants to a national network of Veteran-owned small businesses, creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration and mentorship. “We look forward to providing practical knowledge and tools to help Veteran business leaders navigate new challenges and sustain their growing companies,” said Barbara Ashe, VIP National Director.
VIP ADVANCE is a comprehensive, no-cost, three-day certification program designed exclusively for Veteran business owners who are leading mature, high-growth companies. The 27-hour program serves C-suite executives whose businesses have been operating for at least five years, generate a minimum of $10 million in annual revenue, and possess prime contracting experience or are actively pursuing prime opportunities. VIP ADVANCE is fully funded by the Montgomery County Chamber Community Foundation, in partnership with the U.S. Small Business Administration, Lockheed Martin, the State of Maryland, and other valued program sponsors.
