“Waco, Texas, September 2023: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) Infrastructure Operations Cybersecurity Management office has awarded a contract to Decisive Point Consulting Group, LLC (DPCG) to optimize its Cyber Security Operations Privileged Access Security (PAS) Solution initiative to test, deploy, integrate, and maintain their comprehensive Privileged Access Security (PAS) Solution. The Privileged Access Management (PAM) team, supported by Team DPCG’s CyberArk SMEs, represents an important step forward in enabling the VA’s privileged users to help secure the VA Enterprise and to achieve intelligence-driven detection, protection, and response capabilities that are flexible and sustainable in the face of an ever-morphing modern Cyber threat landscape. With over 1.5 million devices and a network that constantly shifts to support critical missions that are functionally, politically, and technically diverse and distributed, VA is a large, complex organization with inherent security scalability challenges and far-reaching impacts. DPCG has joined forces with a proven government cyber partner, Clango Inc., to support the VA OI&T Infrastructure Operations Cybersecurity Management mission and represents an important step forward in enabling the VA’s 15,000 privileged users to help secure the VA Enterprise as the sophistication and scale of cyberattacks continue to increase and evolve around the globe. According to Rosey Carter, DPCG Partner, “as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, with a workforce consisting of 50% veterans, supporting the VA’s cybersecurity mission is very personal to us. We are delighted to have the opportunity to support the VA’s requirements for privileged access security solution support.”
